Super Junior Should Be Given What They're Worth
When I saw the Girls’ Generation album cover, the teaser images, everything… I immediately felt jealous. I felt so jealous I just couldn’t stand it. Those girls look absolutely gorgeous, and plus everything they release is a masterpiece.
I got jealous because… When I look at Super Junior’s comeback… Their teaser images had absolutely nothing to do with their music video or being “simple”. Their album cover was eccentric and their song wasn’t fresh. It was addictive but repetitive, and it didn’t do too well on the charts. I knowthat fans were disappointed but we all hid it behind a mask because we wanted to be happy for the boys.
Then suddenly came the news of it being Super Junior’s last comeback before a two year hiatus. And I thought, If SM knew all of this was going to happen, then why did they make this comeback so… not on par? It’s great to see the boys performing and smiling again, but they deserved something better.
SM is trying to live off of the Sorry Sorry days. For three years now. It’s time to say goodbye to the SJ Funky line. Girls’ Generation has such beautiful concepts, from cute Gee to sexy Genie and now French The Boys. That’s why I’m jealous. I’m jealous because Super Junior and Girls’ Generation are of the same scale, but yet SM rallies the most popular producers in the world (including Michael Jackson’s, may I add) to work with the girls while Super Junior has Yoo Youngjin. Believe me, I love him, but why put so much effort into only one of the group’s comebacks? Why not Super Junior as well? Aren’t the boys just as good? They work for hours on end and they deserve all the love in the world too. They deserve something new because every year the boys are changing and growing.
SM, why… Why can’t you give Super Junior something they’re worth? You’re considered one of Korea’s most accomplished entertainments. A-CHA was much too similar to Mr. Simple, I was hoping for at least something bubbly. Super Junior can top Sorry Sorry, all you have to do is just give them a chance. I’ve been to so many Korean fansites, trying to figure out what the deal is, but no one seems to be sure about SM. No one. There’s theories but no facts.
So yes, I’m jealous. I’m so jealous of Girls’ Generation and how lucky they are. I truly am. I wish SM could put so much attention to their boys as to their girls. That’s all I wish.
I’m not saying that Mr. Simple is bad, I just feel that there was so much potential. So much potential that could have been covered and wasn’t… Super Junior deserved something new and fresh. They truly did.
Please SM, give them a chance. Please.
I submitted this as a secret because I know one of the biggest things on Tumblr is trying to create fanwars, and although I’m trying to stay away from one, I know that there will still be controversy if I release it on my own Tumblr. ELF gets really emotional when it comes to blaming SM because everyone has a different viewpoint of the entertainment. I just feel that this comeback was either half-hearted or planned by people who have just totally run dry of ideas. Super Junior’s worth more than that. Much more.

Watch SHINee in Russia on first episode of 2011 Cover Dance Festival ‘K-Pop Road Show 40120′
Shining the light on the Hallyu wave, the ‘Cover Dance Festival K Pop Roadshow 40120’ aired it’s first episode through MBC!
The ‘Visit Korea Committee’ held this event for all Hallyu fans across the globe to come together and celebrate Hallyu through this event where top stars visit various foreign countries and participate as judges for local dance contests. The meaning of the ‘40120’ is the distance around the globe once, 40,120 km (~25,000 miles).
The first episode highlighted SHINee and their judging of the dance contestants in Russia.
For future episodes, miss A will be in Los Angeles, USA, MBLAQ in Brazil, 2PM in Thailand, B2ST in Spain, and KARA and T-ara in Japan.
The episodes in Korea have yet to be recorded, on October 3rd YB Band vocal Yoon Do Hyun along with girl group SNSD‘s Tiffany and Yuri will be hosting the festival at the KyungJu Gymnasium. The teams who passed the first online audition and reached the second part will be allowed to perform on stage. The judges will be TVXQ, SNSD, and 4minute.
The next episode will feature MBLAQ in Brazil, check out the first episode of SHINee in Russia below!

[NEWS] SUPER JUNIOR'S FOLLOW-UP SONG "A-CHA", THE TIME IS ELECTRO-HOUSE
Super Junior once again electrified music industry with their follow-up song ‘아차(A-CHA)’.
On September 19th, Super Junior will unveil the repackage version of their 5th full-length album containing 4 additional songs, one being ‘A-CHA’, through Melon, Dosirak, Bugs, Naver and other online music portals.
‘A-CHA’ is a rock-based song with electro-house feeling resulting in a powerful dance song. It has a simple melody and a clean rhythm, detailing a Don Quixote type of love. Its wit lyrics and distinctive dance style delivers an excitement on a whole different level.
In additon, member Leeteuk, Heechul, Shindong, Donghae and Eunhyuk were in charge of the rap part of their unique-rap song ‘웁스(Oops!!)’; Leeteuk and Super Junior M’s Henry also worked together for ‘안단테 (Andante)”s lyrics; ‘하루에(A day)’ is an emotional pop-ballad song about a promise to an everlasting love; we could see a new side of Super Junior’s colorful charm and rich music.
Super Junior will make a comeback with ‘A-CHA’ on September 23th on KBS 2TV Music Bank, which also marked their full-fledged follow-up activities which has caught global fans’ interest.

110913 Super Junior’s Siwon reveals humorous photos of himself
On September 13, Siwon, one of the members of Super Junior, tweeted links to photos with the comment: “Good morning! You know how great the autumn breeze is. I want the wind to take me to somewhere else. Someone realized my dream!”
In the photos, he appears to visit several faraway places: he is clinging to the leg of a giraffe in the grassland, or to the leg of a male singer wearing female attire. Among them, the last photo provokes the loudest laugh.

Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk has revealed his dislike for girls who wear high-waisted pants.
On September 12th’s broadcast of KBS “Hello“, there was a corner called ‘Release Your Worries‘, where regular people guested and revealed their concerns.

110913 Just how big is Shindong’s head?
On September 12th, it was revealed on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Hello‘ that Super Junior‘sShindong‘s head circumference measured 62 cm!
The star guested on the show and revealed that his big head was one of his biggest pet peeves growing up. He stated, “Ever since I was little, my head was so big so it was a big worry for me. My front and back was a ‘jjanggu’ so it looked even bigger than it really was.”
Panelists got up to check the size for themselves on the spot and brought out a measuring tape to measure his head circumference. Surprisingly, he measured 62 cm.

Super Junior has topped various online music charts in Korea and Taiwan simultaneously with their fifth album Mr. Simple.Mr. Simple which was released in Korea on August 3rd took the number one position on Hanteo Chart's weekly chart for second week of September (September 5th~September 11th) becoming number one for five weeks in a row.
Also, on September 9th, Super Junior became number one for 5 weeks in a row on KBSMusic Bank becoming the group with the most numbers ones of this year. They also received the triple crown on SBS Inkigayo and M.net M! Countdown.
When their album was released in Taiwan on September 6th, they quickly topped the charts of various record charts including G-Music Asia chart, Five Music, Guangnan Korean Japanese chart for the second week of September (September 2nd~ September 8th).
