SHINee, Girls’ Generation, & B2ST rank on Oricon’s DVD Chart

SHINee, Girls’ Generation, and B2ST have proven their popularity in Japan once again!

SHINee and Girls’ Generation both ranked on the Oricon‘s ‘DVD Weekly Chart’ for the week of January 9th through the 15th. SHINEE grabbed 2nd place with ‘SHINee the 1st Japan Concert-SHINee World‘ (released January 11th), while Girls’ Generation ranked 3rd with ‘Japan First Tour Girls’ Generation’(released December 14th, 2011).

B2ST has also placed their mark on the Oricon DVD Chart by ranking 2nd on the ‘Daily Chart’ for January 17th with their newly released ‘B2ST the 1st Concert – Welcome to B2ST Airline’.

Yoochun’s face revealed to be smaller than a ramen cup’s

If there’s one beauty standard Korean netizens are obsessed with, it’s the size of one’s face. The general rule of thumb is: ‘the smaller, the better’.

Recently, an online community site went mad over a behind-the-scenes photo of JYJ‘s Park Yoochun. Yoochun was shooting for a ramen advertisement, and held up the product to his face. Netizens immediately noticed that the ramen bowl seemed bigger than Yoochun’s face, causing compliments to roll in.

Comments included, “Why do think I prefer Yoochun over ramen?” and “If he ate ramen like me, I bet he wouldn’t have such a small face lol”

In related news, Yoochun was cast as the male lead for the upcoming SBS drama, ‘Rooftop Prince‘.

Netizens uncover Dasom’s middle school selcas

SISTAR‘s Dasom has become a hot topic thanks to her old middle school photos.

The photos were uploaded onto a community board on January 19th under the title, ‘Dasom’s past photos’.

In the selcas, the future idol is seen goofing around with her friends. Netizens were struck by Dasom’s growth from her past self to her current glamorous image.

Comments included, “This is Dasom in middle school? She looks different”, “Different charms for different periods in her life“, and “Dasom is a true beauty“.

The five talented boys of MBLAQ came together on the January 19th episode of Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘ with a special treat just for fans.

MBLAQ kicked off the episode with a special performance of their winter digital single “White Forever“, displaying their charismatic charms as always.

And to top it off even further, both G.O and Thunder continued to host the show, joining regular MCTony Ahn for the remainder of the show today.

Mnet’s “M! Countdown” is back with another episode chock-full of amazing performances from the artists you all love and adore.

Today’s show was hosted by none other than MBLAQ’s G.O and Thunder, both guiding the show with their good looks and outgoing personalities.
